Numerical and Experimental Examination of Novel Delta Cut Winglet

Details of a numerical and experimental investigation on the heat transfer characteristics for three-dimensional turbulent flows in rectangular duct with punched Delta Cut Winglet are presented present article. The aim study is to examine influence winglet shape, attack angles 00 , 30°, 45°, 60°, 900 different patterns viz., Inline Staggered, Height Perforation H/2, H/3 H/4, Diameter 2.5mm, 3.25mm 4mm Nusselt Number Ratio, Friction Factor Ratio Thermal Enhancement Factor(TEF) Reynolds numbers ranging from 12180.699 48722.796. results compared flows' flow ducts without winglets. Numerical predict an augmentation thermal performance Experimental validate obtained analysis. By analysis, we concluded that ratio more while less at angle 300 450 600 & . Analysis, than less, which complies TEF when height perforation base H/2 as H/4. values Nu/Nu0 1.6248, f/f0 0.8974. highest value achieved 1.6844.
